Mô tả công việc
- Manage and oversee all Ocean Freight operations (FCL/LCL) to ensure shipments are handled efficiently, on time, and in compliance with company standards.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve Ocean Freight operational processes to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Sales and Pricing teams to support rate quotations, solution design, and service implementation for customers.
- Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, agents, and logistics partners to optimize cost and capacity.
- Monitor and control operational costs and P&L performance of the Ocean Freight business.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, documentation requirements, Incoterms, and maritime laws.
- Handle operational issues such as delays, rollovers, damages, claims, and customer complaints, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Track and analyze operational KPIs and propose improvement initiatives.
- Lead, train, and develop the Ocean Freight team.
- Coordinate closely with overseas offices and international agents to ensure seamless end-to-end service.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on Ocean Freight performance, volume, and service quality to Management.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Economics, Maritime Studies, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in Ocean Freight / Freight Forwarding, with management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of FCL/LCL operations, ocean freight procedures, documentation, customs processes, and Incoterms.
- Hands-on experience working with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
